Poster Iterations
The process of creating our poster was one involving many stages, and as such the poster went through many different designs before reaching a final product.
This was the very first basic design for our poster. The plan was never to use this version, but to build upon it.
An alternative version of the poster we made in order to test which we preferred. The consensus from both of us as well as our teacher was that the original image was preferred.
The next thing we decided to try was bringing some colour back into the image, but just for the Jack-in-the-Box. We liked this direction, but felt it needed more development.
The next thing we tried was bringing the contrast up on the Jack-in-the-Box, and the brightness up on the background to allow more detail to be seen. Happy with this design, we moved on to improving on details such as fonts, and adding in the production company logos and release date at the bottom of the poster.
