Whilst to an extent I was pleased with my first set of photos for this idea, I felt they were often a little overcrowded, and I also questioned whether presenting the toys as though in a warzone environment took away from the effect of innocence and violence juxtaposing. I decided to isolate the toys on a white background and take some much more graphical photos, each depicting a single atrocity, as it allowed for easier identification of what was actually horrific about the image, whilst also taking the events out of a warzone context; such acts of violence are more disturbing when viewed alone. In the game, there is a weapon called the 'Smart Pistol,' which can lock on to multiple people at once and kill them all indiscriminately with one trigger pull; hardly a fair fight. I used Photoshop to add in the lock-on UI, to show that these men are about to be killed. I could easily have removed the pole used to hold this figure up in Photoshop, but I decided I liked the impression it gave; that the toys were being played with.
A pilot is crushed by a passing Titan; this is something that happens a lot in 'Titanfall'.
When using your titan's fist to punch someone in the game, they will explode, leaving a pile of body parts on the floor.
