One issue I wanted to tackle with my work was the continued use of drone technology in modern militaries. It is a scary throught that someone half a world away can rain missiles down on towns in Afghanistan etc., and I wanted to parody this. I did so by taking the screens of many innocuous household devices and turning them into the screens of various missile systems. I constructed these screens myself in photoshop, using satellite photographs, text and graphics I drew or combined myself.
