This photograph was an interesting one to create. When creating something dealing with subject matter so sensitive, I decided to focus on Paris' roots in art and culture to style my work. As such, I decided to use shadows, and style my work to vaguely evoke film noir. To actually take the shot, I used tiny models of the eiffel tower and of people, and used an iPhone torch to silhouette them against my wall. Minor edits to brightness and contrast, plus the addition of text elements, was done in Photoshop.
